SAO MAI HOTEL Information

Nearby the center of Bac Ha Market, Sao Mai hotel is a popular place to stay. There are several interesting markets around Bac Ha where plenty of H'mong minority come and exchange agricultural products. With two big, brown wooden houses and a concrete building, the hotel offers 30 rooms with a range of accommodation. The rooms are clean and pleasant. There is a cozy restaurant/bar with outdoor seating under plum trees. All the meals can be served at budget prices of US/pax up.

Sao Mai is in a quiet area within a few minutes walk to Bac Ha Market. A 4 km trek to Ban Pho and about 2 km to the former H'mong king's house. The hotel is 20 km from Can Cau Market and 110 km to Sapa.

- Bed type: 21 double rooms, 2 triple rooms and 4 family rooms (4 single beds)

- Very basic room with dated equipment, telephone, television and tea-making facilities
