The Vietnamese government has recognized about 1500 handicraft villages, of which about 300 are traditional handicraft villages. These villages maintain the country's handicraft heritage.
Program 1: Bat Trang Pottery Village
At 9:00AM, pick up at your hotel to Bat Trang to see local people making beautiful pottery products, and you may experience the feeling of touching and making the products yourselves.
After lunch at a nice restaurant, continue to visit Co Loa Citadel- the relics of Vietnam's first state, dated back to 300 B.C. Return to your hotel at about 4PM.
Program 2: Van Phuc Silk Village
At 9:00AM pick up from your hotel to Van Phuc, a silk weaving village, to see and buy special silk products of local people who maintain their traditional weaving methods. Van Phuc Silk is famous all around the country for being cool, soft and smooth.
Lunch a nice restaurant before continue to Tram Pagoda & Tram Gian Pagoda to learn more about Vietnamese culture and Budhism.
Return to your hotel at about 4PM.
Program 3: Handicraft villages
This program will combine several attractions to the east of Hanoi, including Bat Trang - an old pottery village, Dong Ho - traditional painting village, Dong Ky - a famous traditional furniture making village and But Thap Pagoda - a special ancient structure of 1000 years old.
Return to your hotel in Hanoi late afternoon.
